This powder-blue necklace is made from vitreous enamel on oxidised copper. The sterling silver chain is also oxidised and currently measures 18.5”
Vitreous enamel is powdered glass which is fired in a kiln in multiple layers. The colours of enamel can really punch out, especially with the dramatic background of an oxidised metal
The catch is a t-bar that sits comfortably on the neck. The chain is fixed to two silver loops that in turn are fixed to the reverse of the pendant, which is also enamelled.
The length of the chain can be altered, as can the catch if a lobster catch is preferred
