Earrings, green vitreous enamel with red linen thread

As well as the colour of the green vitreous enamel, these earrings have a lovely tactile surface texture.

The green vitreous enamel is fired in a hot kiln onto the copper base of the earrings, the red linen thread is applied later 

The ear hooks are made from sterling silver which has been oxidised, and waxed

They measure approx 60mm in the drop from the ear and are 15mm wide
