Small fat seed pod sterling silver earrings

These are popular earrings made from solid sterling silver, and have been oxidised and finished with a wax.

The inspiration came from close observation of a seed collected from a Giant Hogweed. I carved my version in wax, and then had them cast in silver

They measure 7mm wide and 22mm drop, from the top of the ear-wire
